Wizkid is set to stage a major concert in Lagos as announced by him on Twitter.
He acknowledges he has been away from home all year and has therefore decided to give the fans a homecoming concert treat.
The singer has however not settled with the venue for the concert just yet, saying he wants to make sure the place will be secure for all.
As expected his fans have taken the news with a lot of anticipation and excitement, with suggestions pouring in as to where would be a perfect venue to stage the event, with the New Afrika Shrine being a possible location acknowledged by Wizkid.
The fans are equally suggesting venues outside Lagos, asking for more than one show, and it looks like that will become a reality.
The 'Baba nla' crooner has unarguably been an MVP this year, with his international music penetration, headlining international shows,winning Artiste of the year in major music awards this 2016 including The MTV Africa Music Awards, The All Africa Music Awards, Best African and Worldwide Act at the MTV Europe Awards among others.
